 Dubai Canvas Festival is an event that celebrates innovation and creativity, introducing a new artistic school that has not been explored in the Middle East before. The event starts on March 1 and this inaugural year it has a 3D theme with exhibits, workshops and an open art gallery with optical illusions created by the world’s best 3D artists such as Kurt Wenner. Kurt Wenner is an international master artist, a true innovator and considered the father of 3D pavement art. He has created some amazing installations and drawings in more than 30 different countries. Enjoy some of his artwork below. Dubai is one of the world’s most developed, fastest-growing and culturally diverse cities. 2015 has been declared the “Year of Innovation” in a plan to foster a culture of innovation, especially among young people where art and social media plays an important role. Installations, street art, sculptures and photography exhibitions will turn the city into an open-air gallery where Dubai is the canvas. If you have a chance to visit the city there is a big chance you will find inspiration through innovation.

These artists are geniuses! It all looked real. I will be too afraid to step on one. I wonder where these artists came from. Did they win contests worldwide so they can all gather here? I don't think where they are from is a big deal. All of them are very good with what they do. Thanks for sharing these pictures.
