Most of us have to come up with new ideas and insights in order to stay ahead of our competition. Creativity is often linked to specific environments, people, skills, cultures or methods. How can we shake up our traditional thinking and behaviour and instead move towards innovative thinking? Is there anyone we can learn or get inspired from? Artists and designers have a master ability to transcend traditional ideas and their creativity can be inspirational for anyone who is interested in exploring new ideas in order to achieve progress.  A fine example is the French artist Frederique Morrel who revitalizes vintage tapestries by transforming them into unique works of fantastical embroidered taxidermy. Frédérique Morrel, is an artistic adventure designed to explore paradise lost and the animals of Eden, using as raw material the discarded popular tapestries found in corners of yard sales and thrift shops. The creations are carefully “re-made” by hand in France using fiberglass, taxidermy moulds and textiles. The ‘artifacts’ are designed to re-enchant the world using materials that tell stories of simple, ideal happiness. In 2014, the Hermes boutique at Madison Avenue New York invited Frederique Morrel to create their window displays in a specially designed event called "La Nature du Foyer", creating a touch of fairy-tale magic.    This is something that inspires us.

This is one of the articles that I love because it talks about creativity and ideas which really relate to my profession as an advertiser. I love knowing the insight of my target audience and from scratch I want to come up a campaign that will break the record in the mind of my target audience. Hermes boutique really captured my heart because I love artworks. I am a person who appreciates the world of art because for me it has a million of meanings and no one can question about it because it is the creation of the mind. One of my favorite artists is Frederique Morrel. Her ideas in animals are extraordinary that touch my soul because I can’t imagine how it happened and how she created that craft. I love all his work, especially when he did the artistic design in the window of the Hermes boutique at Madison Avenue New York. It was a really fantastic creation and I can’t wait to finally see that thing. She is the best artist in the town. Those are some nice pieces of art! Though I do not actually draw or make sculptures, I express my creativity through writing by writing stories and novels. This is the only outlet of creativity that I know. It's easier for me to create illustrations using the power of words instead of a brush and a palette. I get inspired mostly by music. Sometimes, however, inspiration just hits me in the gut like a UFC fighter just punched me in the stomach. And once I'm inspired enough to write, I prefer to not stop until the thing is finished, or until my inspiration clocks out. Comments are closed.
